  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried Italian Seasoning (optional)
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano (optional)
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce or Worcestershire Sauce (non-alcohol, optional)
  • ¼ to ½ tsp Brown Sugar or Maple Syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Chicken: Pat your chicken breasts dry and pound to even thickness if necessary.
  2. Season Generously: Rub olive oil on chicken, then mix and apply the seasoning blend.
  3. Arrange in Slow Cooker: Layer the seasoned chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  4. Add Liquid and Flavor Boosters: Pour broth over chicken; add optional ingredients if desired.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Cover and cook on LOW for 2-4 hours or HIGH for 1-2 hours until done.
  6. Rest and Finish: Let chicken rest before slicing or shredding.
  7. Optional Sauce Thickening: Whisk cornstarch and cold water, add to liquid in slow cooker to thicken.
