These Smash Burger Tacos combine the juicy goodness of burgers with the fun, handheld nature of tacos, making them a perfect crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 taco-sized flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over high heat.
  2. Form small balls of ground beef, about 2 ounces each.
  3. Smash the beef balls on the hot skillet to create crispy patties.
  4. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the patties.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Warm the tortillas in another pan.
  7. Assemble your tacos by placing a crispy burger patty on each tortilla.
  8. Add shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, and pickles, then drizzle with ketchup and mustard.
  9. Serve immediately for the best flavor.

Notes
