Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 8 Taco shells or tortillas
  • 2 cups Cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Grill – Set the stage for grilled perfection by preheating your grill over medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken breasts with the mixture.
  3. Place your seasoned chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  4. While the chicken is grilling, toss shredded cabbage with cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt to make the slaw.
  5. Put taco shells on the grill for a minute or two to warm them up.
  6. Once the chicken is grilled, slice it into bite-sized pieces.
  7. Assemble tacos by filling each shell with chicken and topping with cilantro lime slaw.
  8. Present the tacos to your family or guests and enjoy!

Notes

For added smokiness, marinate the chicken overnight. For milder flavor, adjust chili powder or use paprika. Fresh corn tortillas can be used instead of taco shells.
