Delightful and crispy wonton bites filled with creamy spinach and artichoke, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly spray a mini muffin tin with cooking spray.
  3. Gently press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, creating a small cup shape.
  4. Lightly brush the wonton wrappers with olive oil or melted butter for that extra crunch.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the parmesan cheese. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the creamy mixture.
  7. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the spinach artichoke mixture into each wonton cup, filling them about three-quarters full.
  8. Top each filled wonton cup with a sprinkle of the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the wonton edges are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the wonton bites cool in the muffin tin for about 5 minutes before carefully removing them. Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or basil if desired, and serve warm.
