Delicious steak and potato foil packets, perfect for outdoor grilling, combining convenience and hearty flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat to ensure a good sear on the steak and perfect cooking for the potatoes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the steak, diced potatoes, bell pepper, onion, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Toss gently to make sure everything is well coated with the olive oil and seasonings.
  3. Cut four large pieces of aluminum foil. Divide the steak and potato mixture evenly among the foil pieces. Fold the foil over the mixture, sealing it tightly to create packets.
  4. Place the packets on the preheated grill. Cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the steak reaches your preferred level of doneness.
  5. Carefully open the packets and garnish your hearty meal with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the foil packets for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
