A comforting bowl of noodles tossed in a luscious, sticky garlic sauce featuring tender chicken and a hint of sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 8 ounces noodles (e.g., egg noodles or rice noodles)
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, and rice vinegar until well combined.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into tender strips.
  5. Add the sauce mixture to the same skillet and bring it to a gentle simmer to infuse the flavors.
  6. Toss the cooked noodles in the skillet to coat evenly in the sauce.
  7. Serve the noodles topped with sliced chicken, garnished with freshly chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with tofu or hearty vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
