A creamy and decadent strawberry mousse that’s reminiscent of summer days spent in the garden, perfect for dessert lovers.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, pureed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin (optional for thickening)
  • 1/4 cup water (if using gelatin)
  • Strawberry sauce for topping

Instructions

  1. Whip the cream in a bowl until soft peaks form.
  2. Mix the strawberry puree with powdered sugar and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  3. Dissolve the gelatin in warm water if using.
  4. Fold the strawberry mixture into the whipped cream gently.
  5. Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes.
  6. Top with homemade strawberry sauce before serving.

Notes

For best results, use ripe seasonal strawberries. This recipe can be dairy-free by substituting heavy cream with coconut cream. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
