A comforting pizza dish filled with layers of cheese, vegetables, and pepperoni, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 pizza crusts
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup diced vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, onions, mushrooms)
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out one of the pizza crusts and place it in a greased pie dish.
  3. Spread half of the pizza sauce on the crust.
  4. Layer half of the mozzarella cheese, followed by half of the pepperoni, vegetables, and ricotta cheese.
  5. Repeat layers with the remaining sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and vegetables.
  6. Top with the second pizza crust and seal the edges.
  7. Brush the top crust with olive oil, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, oregano, and garlic powder.
  8. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
