Delightful stuffed shells filled with creamy cheese and spinach, covered in marinara sauce and topped with gooey mozzarella.

Ingredients

  • 12 Jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 cups Spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package directions until al dente.
  3. Mix together ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, spinach, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
  4. Fill each cooked jumbo shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish, cut side up, and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Sprinkle additional mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Let it cool for a moment before serving warm.

Notes

For best flavor, use high-quality cheeses. You can substitute cottage cheese for ricotta if desired.
