A vibrant and customizable taco salad bowl packed with flavors and textures for a delightful meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning
  • 1 cup Corn, drained
  • 1 cup Black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 4 cups Lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 Avocado, diced
  • ½ cup Sour cream
  • Tortilla chips, for garnish
  • Salsa, your choice

Instructions

  1. Sauté the ground beef or turkey in a skillet with taco seasoning until evenly browned and flavorful.
  2. Prepare the chopped lettuce as the base in a large bowl.
  3. Assemble the salad by adding the cooked meat, corn, black beans, cherry tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Add diced avocado, sour cream, and your choice of salsa on top.
  5. Crunch some tortilla chips and sprinkle them on top before serving.

Notes

Pack the salad ingredients separately for best freshness. Leftovers keep well for 3 days in the fridge (meats/beans) and 1-2 days for fresh toppings.
