A creamy and tangy tartar sauce that perfectly complements fish and seafood dishes, and can elevate any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped Pickles
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Capers
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients. You’ll need mayonnaise, finely chopped pickles, zesty lemon juice, capers, and Dijon mustard.
  2. Combine the mayonnaise in a bowl as the rich, creamy foundation of your tartar sauce.
  3. Chop your pickles and capers finely. Toss them into the bowl with the mayonnaise.
  4. Add fresh lemon juice to brighten the sauce and add tang.
  5. Mix in Dijon mustard for a depth of flavor.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting flavors as needed.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
