  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast: In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Combine ingredients: Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well to combine all the ingredients into a luscious blend.
  3. Form the dough: Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough: Knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. First rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Shape the buns: Punch down the dough, divide into 8 equal pieces, and shape each into a ball.
  7. Second rise: Cover and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) while the dough rises.
  9. Bake the buns: Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
