  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust based on the sweetness of watermelon)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the ingredients: In a blender, combine the diced watermelon, sugar, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
  2. Freeze the mixture: Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours, or until it starts to freeze around the edges.
  3. Scrape and stir: Using a fork, scrape and stir the granita every 30 minutes to break up the ice crystals, until the mixture is fluffy and granular.
